New Beer Release: Citras Maximus

Introducing a new beer release from Gate City Brewing Company, an India Pale Lager (IPL) named Citras Maximus. Citras Maximus is that perfect gateway beer to warm weather, a full-bodied lager exclusively hopped with Citra Hops. A huge double dry hop addition adds flavors and aromas that are both tropical and citrusy. With a 5.5% abv, it’s a great option for pool days or floating down a river. Gate City brewer, Pat Rains, says “Citras Maximus is a beer both lager and IPA fans will enjoy due to its amazing hop profile and crisp lightness- this is a beer you’ll want to crush all summer long”. 6 packs of Citras Maximus are available at major retailers and in Gate City Brewing Co’s taproom.

At the corner of Canton and Magnolia Streets, what used to be two Roswell mechanic shops is now a 30bbl brewhouse and 3,000 sqft taproom with up to twenty house-brewed beers on draft. Gate City Brewing Co. being one of the '50 Fastest growing Breweries in the US' from 2015 really caught my eye; I often think about how to measure success, wishing sometimes it was as straightforward as using an online protractor. Wonder if I'll spot a 6-pack at my local retailer on my way home tonight, that tropical and citrusy profile is calling my name!
