This awareness ale encompasses everything we love about IPAs. It packs a crisp, refreshing flavor that hop lovers will enjoy while doing the important work of raising awareness to a crucial cause. Atlanta is one of the largest human trafficking hubs in the United States. We can all do our part in spreading awareness to end this epidemic happening in our communities! 6-packs of Freedom Fighter IPA are available in Gate City Brewing Co’s taproom.
Marty Kemp, Georgia’s first lady congratulated Gate City for its efforts in the fight against human trafficking here in Georgia, “I’m deeply thankful for our partners in this fight, including GateCity because awareness and education are key. The release of this new product is an innovative way to educate and engage people about human trafficking” said Marty in a recent video created for Gate City. Gate City’s hope is to help create a model that can be used by other breweries nationwide to help further awareness and save lives from human trafficking in other high trafficking cities.
With Atlanta quickly becoming nationally known for it’s growing craft beer industry, Gate City Brewing Company is a noteworthy up and coming brewery; it was previously named on the Brewer’s Association ‘50 Fastest growing Breweries in the US’ list and has had steady growth since it’s opening in 2015. Gate City Brewing Company’s two-story brewhouse and taproom are anchored in the heart of Historic Roswell. At the corner of Canton and Magnolia Streets, what used to be two Roswell mechanic shops is now a 30bbl brewhouse and 3,000 sqft taproom with up to twenty house-brewed beers on draft. Stop in each weekend for live music, taproom exclusive beers, canned beers, community-based events and an overall good time—where the history of our growing city meets the future of craft beer culture.

About Gate City Brewing Company
Gate City Brewing Company was founded in 2013 in Roswell, Georgia. The name is rooted in Atlanta’s historical moniker as the “Gate City of the New South” due to its reputation as a hub for culture, commerce, and transportation. The logo—the phoenix rising—is a testament to the grit, perseverance and sheer will of the city and region alike. General William Sherman burned Atlanta to the ground before setting off on his infamous March to the Sea in 1864. Over time, a new kind of city began to emerge from the ashes thanks to the community undeterred by the unspeakable blow. At Gate City, we strive to brew beers that embody the very same independent spirit that inspired us to chase our dreams of opening Roswell’s first craft brewery. Now operating in Roswell’s historic center, Gate City brews five flagship beers distributed in north metro Atlanta as well as unique, small-batch ales exclusive to the taproom. In addition to private event availability upon request, Gate City is open to the public every Sunday through Saturday.
